Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of Saltillo and a member of the Order of Preachers (Dominicans), he has dedicated his life to serving the Church through a pastoral ministry distinguished by his closeness to communities, the proclamation of the Gospel, and the defense of human dignity. His witness of faith, humility, and Christian commitment has left a profound mark on the life of the Church in Mexico, earning recognition for his devoted service to the People of God.
Cantor Sara Kheel
Immediately following ordination, Sara was a chaplain resident at NYU Langone Hospital – Brooklyn. She then spent five years as the cantor at Temple Beth Shalom in Vero Beach, FL. Cantor Sara Kheel is now the staff chaplain at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital since 2023. At SMRH, you can find Cantor Kheel bedside providing spiritual care for patients and families of all faiths, supporting staff, leading Jewish programming, and of course singing.
